Overview of adapter cable 9257/6 

  1. Unscrew seat from the seat rails. → 720119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT - SECTION ON "REMOVING" .
  2. Unplug central connector for seat.
  3. Plug connector -2-  from adapter cable 9257/6 -1-  into the central connector for the seat.

  4. Connect the ignition device 9257  to the 2-pin connector of the adapter cable 9257/6  .
  5. Place the ignition device in front of the vehicle through the door gap.
