Installing Tail Light

NOTE:
If a new tail light is installed, the following spacers/gel pads must be affixed at defined positions on the tail light before installation.
Position of inner adhesive pad for left and right tail light
- -1- Affixing 1-mm gel pad. For part number, see Tail light in PET.
Position of outer adhesive pad for left tail light
- -1- Affixing 1-mm gel pad. For part number, see Tail light in PET.
- -2- Affixing 2-mm gel pad. For part number, see Tail light in PET.
- -1- Affixing 1-mm gel pad. For part number, see Tail light in PET.
- -2- Affixing 2-mm gel pad. For part number, see Tail light in PET.
- Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
- If the tail light was replaced, set the gap dimensions by turning the adjustment device.
- Tighten fastening screws on the tail light.
- Screw on and tighten fastening nuts on the rear retaining strip.
- Tighten fastening screw used to secure the rear retaining strip to the front retaining strip.
