Removing Steering Column Casing

Adjust steering wheel to its lower position.
Unclip upper part of casing.
1. 2.1. Turn steering wheel in such a way that the openings on the front are accessible.
2. 2.2. Unclip upper part of casing -1 - through the openings on the front -2 - using a suitable screwdriver.
  
  Unclipping upper part
Unhook dust boot -1 - on upper part of casing -2 - and push it back.

Dust boot
Remove upper part of casing.
Release lower part of casing.
Only for manual steering-wheel adjustment:

Unscrew fastening screw -1 - on lower part of casing -2 -.

Screw on lower part (manual steering-wheel adjustment)

Only for electric steering-wheel adjustment:

Unscrew fastening screw -1 - in recess on lower part of casing -2 -.

Screw on lower part (electric steering-wheel adjustment)
1. 5.1. Turn the steering wheel in such a way that the fastening screws -1 - on the front are accessible.
  
  Screws on lower part (front)
2. 5.2. Unscrew fastening screws -1 - on the front of the lower part of casing -2 -.
3. 5.3. Fold lower part of casing -2 - down out of the way -arrows -.
Unclip wiring harness -2 - from lower part of casing -3 - at the positions -1 -.

Removing lower part
Remove lower part of casing -3 -.
