Removing Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

Disconnect electric plug connections -1...4- , release holder -6- and place wire harness -5- on the engine.

Transmission wire harness
Unscrew fastening screws -2- and disconnect holder -1 - with auxiliary pump from the transmission.

Auxiliary pump holder
Pull off cover on drive plate -arrow- at the underside of the transmission.

Cover on drive plate
Loosen dual-mass flywheel from the drive plate.
1. 4.1. Unscrew fastening screw -arrow- .
  Counter at the crankshaft when loosening the screws.
2. 4.2. For the next screw, turn the crankshaft a further 60° in direction of rotation of the engine .

Secure the engine to prevent it from slipping using support from assembly fixture - Panamera WE 1367 -1- .

Supporting the engine
NOTE:
Engine/transmission is supported on the oil pan.
- Leaks at the oil pan
→ Use prescribed tools and aids.
Use hook and support tool T40294 to secure the transmission to the workshop crane WE 1188 .
1. 6.1. Hook and support tool T40294 must be engaged in the housing bores on the right.
2. 6.2. Fit knurled screw -arrow- at the left on the transmission.

Loosen fastening screws -1 and 5- and remove transmission.
Check clearance during removal.
1. 7.1. Remove spacer -2- from the dowel sleeves.
