Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine. → 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE
  2. Remove catalytic converter. → 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER
  3. Unscrew fastening screws -2-  and remove heat shield at the left -1-  .

  4. Unscrew fastening screws -2-  and remove heat shield at the right -1-  .

  5. Remove heat shields on the drive shaft at both sides.

    Unscrew fastening screws -arrows-  and remove heat shields.

  6. Loosen drive shafts at both sides from the transmission. → 404119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DRIVE SHAFT
  7. Remove ATF lines. → 386219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LINE FOR ATF COOLING
