Preliminary Work

Remove manual transmission.
→ 343519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION .
Remove front silencer.
→ 262519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SILENCER .
Remove heat shield on the engine carrier.
→ 261419 HEAT SHIELD ON ENGINE CARRIER .
Turn the crankshaft at the vibration damper -1- clockwise using turning device 9773 -3- until the staking bores are aligned.
1. 4.1. Fix vibration damper in place with locating pin 9595/1 -4- .
