Checking Transmission Oil

Information

Secure vehicle to prevent it rolling away.
To check transmission oil the vehicle must be horizontal.

WARNING: Hot fluid

Danger of scalding

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Unscrew oil inspection plug -1- .

The oil level is correct if the oil reaches the lower edge of the inspection window. If this is not the case, top up transmission oil. → Topping Up Transmission Oil
Screw in a new oil inspection plug -1- . → Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)
