Installing light bulb igniter

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work  .
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation  .
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts  .

1. Check the condition of the seal -1-  and check that it is fitted correctly on the light bulb igniter -2-  .
2. Connect electric plug connections -3-  on the light bulb igniter until they engage securely.
3. Carefully insert light bulb igniter -1-  into the headlight.
4. Tighten fastening screws -2-  . Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ft. lb.)
