Removing Brake Shoes: Removing

  1. Disengage the brake cable at the parking-brake lever.

  2. Loosen adjustment device for parking-brake shoes.

    Using a -screwdriver-  , turn the adjustment device towards "Release".

  3. Remove rear brake disc.

    Remove the countersunk screws -1-  and take off the brake disc. If a securely seated brake disc cannot be removed by gentle tapping with a plastic hammer, evenly screw bolts into the two M8 threads of the brake disc, thereby pressing off the brake disc → 465319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BRAKE DISC .

  4. Remove parking-brake shoes.

    This includes: removing compression springs -6-  , adjustment device -2-  , return springs -4, 5-  and parking-brake shoes -1-  .
