Installing Generator

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2019 Porsche 911, 2018 Porsche 911, 2017 Porsche 911, 2016 Porsche 911, and 2015 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the generator on the engine and secure the B+ line with the collar nut. Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 ftlb.) 
  2. Fit the cap.
  3. Connect cable plug and engage the latch.
    1. 3.1. Fit cable clip on the housing.
  4. Position the generator -arrow-  and fit the right screw.
    1. 4.1. Tighten both screws. Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)

  5. Remove fabric tape.
