Removing Roof Molding

Pull rubber door seal -1- out of the body close to the roof molding -arrows- .

Turn the fastening clip -1- along the roof molding -2- by 90° using a Torx wrench -arrow- .

Remove roof molding.

1. 3.1. Starting at the front, pull the roof molding -1- down as far as the B-pillar -arrows- . Insert a plastic wedge between the roof molding and body if necessary.
2. 3.2. Pull the roof molding -1- out of the fixing clips -2- close to the side window -arrow A- .

3. 3.3. Pull the roof molding -1- forward and remove it -arrow B- .
