Installing Distributor Housing

Information 

  1. Check molded seals and replace if damaged.
    1. 1.1. Coat seals with the specified lubricant.
  2. Install distributor housing -1-  .
    1. 2.1. Position distributor housing.
    2. 2.2. Tighten all screws.
    3. 2.3. Fit coolant connection piece and tighten external Torx screws (M8 x 70) -2-  .

      Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.) 

    4. 2.4. Tighten external Torx screws M8 x 50 -3-  and M8 x 35 -4-  .

      Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.)

  3. Secure bracket -1-  for coolant pump.
    1. 3.1. Tighten external Torx screws -4 and 5-  .
    2. 3.2. Tighten M6 external Torx screw.

      Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.) 

    3. 3.3. Tighten M8 external Torx screw.

      Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.)

  4. Install vibration damper.

    → INSTALLING VIBRATION DAMPER .

  5. Install tensioning roller.

    → INSTALLING TENSIONING ROLLER .
