Removing Rear Apron

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  close to the tail lights.

2. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  under the rear spoiler.

3. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  on the underside of the rear apron.

4. GT4 only:  Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  at the sides of the rear apron.

   Information 

   Two people are needed to remove and install the rear apron!

5. Carefully unclip the rear apron -1-  close to the wheel arch -Arrows "A"-  at both sides and remove it by pulling it to the rear -Arrow "B"-  until the electric plug connection can be reached.

6. Release electric plug connection -1-  (-Arrow "a"-  ) and disconnect it -Arrow "A"-  .

7. Remove rear apron by pulling it to the rear.
