TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

No. 1: Threaded connection securing steering wheel to steering column M18 x 1.5 x 26 thread (only use screw once) Initial tightening 30 (22 ftlb.) Nm  
No. 1: Threaded connection securing steering wheel to steering column M18 x 1.5 x 26 thread (only use screw once) Final tightening + 90°  
No. 3: Threaded connection securing steering column to assembly bracket M8 x 32 thread; Observe specified tightening sequence! Starting with the rear right fastening screw, tighten 1-4 anti-clockwise. Tightening torque 20 (15 ftlb.) Nm  
No. 4: Threaded connection securing steering column to frequency strut M8 x 115 thread; screw frequency strut to mounting bracket after screwing on steering column! Tightening torque 20 (15 ftlb.) Nm  
No. 5: Threaded connection securing mount for sealing ring/sealing sleeve to firewall   Tightening torque 4 (3 ftlb.) Nm  
No. 6: Threaded connection securing universal joint to steering gear M8 x 30 thread (only use screw once) Initial tightening 20 (15 ftlb.) Nm  
No. 6: Threaded connection securing universal joint to steering gear M8 x 30 thread (only use screw once) Final tightening + 90°
