Deleting Adaptations Selectively (Affected Areas)

Necessary after:
- Replacing oil pump
- Replacing oil pressure control valve
- Mixture adaptation
- Lambda adaptation
Necessary after:
- Replacing high-pressure injectors
- Correcting faults during load detection, mixture control, emissions measurement
- Pressure sensors, intake manifold
Necessary after:
- Replacing intake manifold pressure sensor
- Replacing boost pressure sensor (Turbo only)
- Boost pressure control (Turbo only)
Necessary after:
- Replacing turbocharger
- Correcting faults in boost pressure control system
How?
PIWIS Tester:
- Preconditions:
- 1.1 Engine off
- 1.2 Ignition on
- 1.3 Engine cold if possible
- Select menu:
- 2.1 DME
- 2.2 Maintenance/repairs
- 2.3 Delete adaptation values
- Information on deleting adaptation values
- Confirm with F8
- Submenu of adaptation ranges
- Select adaptation range and continue with F12
- Switch off ignition (see also Information)
