Removing Cooling Fan Housing (Radiator Frame) On Naturally Aspirated Vehicles

WARNING:
Electrically moved components
- Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.
→ Make sure it does not switch on again.
→ Check that there is no electric charge.
- Unclip electric lines from the brackets.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -6-
for fan on the cooling fan housing -a-

3 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -8- at the cooling water hose.

- Release locking springs -9-
at the left and right of the cooling fan housing.
Releasing locking springs
- Carefully press cooling water hose -10-
to one side.
Pressing cooling water hose aside
- Pull cooling fan housing out of the brackets at the side and at the bottom and swivel it to the right slightly (in direction of travel) -arrow A-

Pulling out cooling fan housing
- Carefully remove the cooling fan housing by pulling it up -arrow B- .
