Installing Rear Panel For Roof Assembly

Slide the rear glass panel -1- from above at an angle under the front glass panel -1- (-A- ).

Fit the rear part of the rear glass panel -1- down into the roof cut-out -B- and slide it towards the rear -C- .
Information

Always use new screws when installing the glass panel.
Screw in fastening screws -2- , but do not tighten them.

Adjust gap dimensions. Gap dimension 0.8 mm +/-1 mm gap dimension 10 mm +/-1.2 mm Gap dimension 1 mm +1.2 mm -0.6 mm Gap dimension 2 mm +/-0.5 mm
When positioning the panel, check that there is an equal gap between the panel and roof cut-out. Align the panel in the longitudinal and transverse direction if necessary.
Tighten fastening screws -2- to Tightening Torque 7 Nm (5 ft. lb.) .
Press seal -3- onto the assembly frame.
After completing all tasks, program/teach the roof assembly (panoramic roof). → 600625 PROGRAMMING/TEACHING ROOF ASSEMBLY (PANORAMIC ROOF)
