Installing Crankshaft-Flywheel Sealing Ring

Information 

Sealing rings become damaged as a result of improper fitting. Do not oil sealing rings on the running surface and do not pull sealing rings off the plastic sleeve.

Insertion tool 9837 

1. > 9837 - Insertion tool  for hall-sender rotor
2. > 9837 - Insertion tool  for crankshaft-flywheel sealing ring
3. > 9837 - Insertion tool  for centering device

1. Place sealing ring -2-  on the centering device

2. Secure centering device -1-  on the crankshaft.
   1. Position centering device -1-  on the crankshaft flange.
   2. Position centering device -1-  using the crankshaft centering pin -2-  .
   3. Tighten screws -3-  to > Tightening torque 23 Nm  .

      Securing centering device to the crankshaft 

3. Install crankshaft-flywheel sealing ring.
   1. Fit insertion tool for crankshaft-flywheel sealing ring -1-  on the centering device.
   2. Guide centering pin -3-  on the centering device through the bore in the insertion tool for the crankshaft-flywheel sealing ring -1-  .
   3. Tighten screw -2-  to > Tightening torque 25 Nm  .
   4. Remove insertion tool completely and check press-in depth.
