Installing Front Wheel Bearing Housing
Information
- Protect electric line as required when installing the spring strut on vehicles with PASM .
- Do not lift/transport the spring strut/vibration damper at the electric lines .
- A second mechanic is needed in order to install the spring strut/wheel bearing housing .
- Make sure that the retaining pins do not damage the paint surface when fitting the spring strut mount. (Seal damaged areas with suitable preservative) .
- Use correct tightening torques and torque angle. → 4X00IN TIGHTENING TORQUES FOR FRONT AXLE .
- Always replace lock nuts .
