Preparing Connection Areas Of Body For Installing Rear Side Member

  1. Fit in rear side member and secure it to the body. Check gap dimensions. →  5X00IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS  . 

    Position rear side member using the straightening system.

    1. 1.1. Drill bores for the rivets through the existing holes. → Diameter: 6.5 mm

    2. 1.2. Countersink bore -1-  for installing a countersunk rivet.
  2. Prepare connection areas on the body for bonding. →  Preparing Bonding Surfaces  .
