Seat-Belt Pretensioners

- All seat-belt pretensioner units.
- Triggering unit after the system is triggered for the third time.
Because it is difficult to visually determine if one or more seat-belt pretensioners has been triggered, check the following points:
- Use PIWIS Tester II 9818 to read out the fault memory.
- Check plug connection on the seat-belt pretensioner for damage.
- Pull out the belt strap as far as possible and check for wear.
- Perform a function test on the automatic belt device.
