Installing Roof Joint Cover Strip

Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropanol to ensure that all traces of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.

The bonding area of the seal and the bonding area on the body part must not be coated with sliding compound.

Apply sliding compound -2- to the opposite side of the protective film -1- .

Position the seal.
The lug of the protective film must be facing outwards.
Pull off protective film -1- parallel to the body and press the seal on lightly.

Check that the seal is fitted correctly.
Press on the seal from the roof side using a plastic wedge.
