Removing Vacuum Pump

  1. Disconnect vacuum line and electric line.
    1. 1.1. Release plug-in coupling -1-  at the vacuum line and pull it off the vacuum pipe.
    2. 1.2. Remove vacuum line and electric line from the clip holder -2-  .

  2. Loosen screw -1-  and pull the vacuum pipe -2-  off the vacuum pump.

    Information 

    When you loosen the fastening screws, engine oil will run out of the vacuum pump. Place a suitable container underneath to collect the emerging engine oil. The engine-oil level must be checked and topped up afterwards (following installation).

  3. Unscrew external Torx screws -4-  and remove the vacuum pump -1-  .

    Make sure not to loosen the internal Torx screws  .
