Information
- After replacing a tie rod, it is important to check whether the software version is identical on both sides or whether the ordered spare part has a lower software version.
- To do this, check the software version of both rear-axle steering adjusters (tie rods) using the PIWIS Tester ("Identification" > "Software version").
- If they are different and if one software version is less than "1006", use the flash code "M6J3U" to program the rear-axle steering to the same (latest) software version.
Information
- The tie rod (rear-axle steering adjuster) -2- can only be correctly installed when the rear-axle carrier side section -1- is removed.
