  1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out using PIWIS Tester II 9818  prior to removing the "old" control unit. → 944955 FRONT-END ELECTRONICS .
  2. Remove front left side-section trim panel. → REMOVING FRONT SIDE SECTION TRIM .
