Removing Tail Light

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Extend rear spoiler.
1. 1.1. Switch on ignition.
2. 1.2. Open the rear spoiler completely by pressing the button in the center console.
3. 1.3. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
Carefully unclip cover on the mounting bracket using a plastic wedge as shown -arrow- and remove it.

Unscrew fastening screws -1- for the tail light and pull the tail light out as far as required until the connector is accessible -A- .

Release and disconnect electric connector for the tail light.
