Removing Headlights

NOTE: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Information 

Risk of damage to headlights due to chafing and excessive temperatures.

Headlights must not be covered when they are switched on, e.g. by wing protector or film.

Switch off ignition.

  1. Remove the relevant toolbox -arrow-  .

  2. Open the headlight release cover.
  3. Place the socket wrench (tool kit) on the release axle. The handle of the wrench must point horizontally to the rear.
  4. Turn the socket wrench approx. 180° -A-  . This releases the headlight and pushes it forward slightly.
  5. Turn the socket wrench back until it is pointing vertically downwards -B-  and leave it attached.
  6. The headlight is now unlocked and can be pulled forward out of the wing.
  7. Release and disconnect electric plug connection.

    Information 

    If the headlight is replaced, the headlight mounting must also be replaced.
