- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
- Risk of damage to components and surfaces

Information
- All screws and threaded joints on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle standing on its wheels, or the wheel suspension is raised with a universal vehicle lift. Dimension -1- , from lower edge of wing to center of axle corresponds to vehicle position. The current height can be found in → 4495TW ADJUSTMENT VALUES FOR SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT . Always observe the following points!
- On vehicles with air springs, the respective air spring must be bled using the Porsche System Tester. → 4301IN BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM
- Vehicle position can be set by carefully raising the relevant wheel bearing housing.
- Use an intermediate layer (hard rubber)! Do not damage the brake cover plate.
- Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased.
- Grease the splines of the drive shaft slightly with aluminum paste Optimoly TA.

Information
PDCC chassis:
- Steel flexi-pipes are particularly sensitive to kinking and crushing.
- Treat the steel flexi-pipes with great care when removing, storing and reinstalling the anti-roll bar.
- Make sure that the steel flexi-pipes are not subject to any mechanical loads during the following operations.
- The anti-roll bar is installed in reverse order to removal.
Compressor to chassis subframe:
Connecting link (suspension/stabilizer) to anti-roll bar (PDCC): Tightening torque 40 Nm +30°
Anti-roll bar clamp to chassis subframe: Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
- When tightening the anti-roll-bar mounts, pay close attention to the installation position markings -arrow-
.
If the anti-roll bar is replaced, both ends of the anti-roll bar must be fitted horizontally.
