Installing Spreader Device (EPB Actuator)

Information

If new brake discs and/or new brake shoes are installed on the vehicle, they must be worn in before calibration (not PCCB!). → 468350 REWORKING PARKING-BRAKE SHOES

If a new actuator was installed, it must be confirmed in the Porsche System Tester.

  1. Clean the actuator carefully so as not to damage the dust boots.
  2. Visually inspect the dust boots for cracks.
  3. Installation is performed in reverse order. Note: Do not twist brake shoe mountings when installing the actuator!
