Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Mark cuts A, B and C in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

Make cut D as a rough cut through all plates.
- Mark and make cuts.
→ Distance: 20 mm

Drill out spotwelds A through two plate thicknesses.
- Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill Nr.129 .
- Remove top part of B-pillar.
- Mark cuts and cut through all plates. → Distance: 20 mm → Distance: 80 mm → Distance: 60 mm → Distance: 20 mm

- Remove B-pillar reinforcement.

- Remove remaining part of inner B-pillar panel.
- Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill Nr.129 .
- Remove remaining part of B-pillar reinforcement.
- Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill Nr.129 .
- Remove remaining part of inner B-pillar panel.
