Removing Valve Lifters (Hydraulic Tappets)

Information
- The hydraulic tappets are fitted as bucket tappets on the outlet side and as switching tappets for valve lift s viuiiovei on the intake side.
- Switching tappets and bucket tappets cannot be interchanged.
- The hydraulic tappets have a twist lock for the cylinder head.
Information
- If the hydraulic tappets are to be re-used, they must be marked according to installation position using a water-resistant felt-tip pen and set aside in such a way that they cannot be mixed up!
- If the hydraulic tappets are to be re-used, they must be installed at the same position!

- Pull the hydraulic tappets out of the cylinder head one after the other Hydraulic tappet
