Removing Solenoid/Hydraulic Valve For Camshaft Controller

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws for hydraulic valve -4-  .
  2. Carefully pull hydraulic valve up and out. To do this, use 9235 - relay puller  . Hold hydraulic valve only at the metal body.

    Camshaft control

    1  Screw, M12 Tighten fully after setting valve timing. Always use a new screw
    2  Camshaft controller with integrated hexagon for countering
    3  Hydraulic valve for camshaft control
    4  Screw, M5x 12
  3. Visually inspect hydraulic valve strainer and clean with solvent naphtha if necessary. Replace hydraulic valve if heavily soiled
