Removing Balance Shaft

Lock the balance weight -1- at the rear of the engine with locating pins T40116 .
Unscrew screw -2- and remove balance weight from the balance shaft.

Unscrew screw -2- while countering the balance weight with a mandrel and remove the balance weight -1- at the front of the engine from the balance shaft.

Unscrew screws -arrows- and remove end plate for the balance shaft at the rear of the engine.
Pull the balance shaft to the rear and out of the cylinder block.
