Installing Rear Spoiler (Wing Struts)

Information 

• Carefully clean any dirt, grease, wax and other impurities off the installation area of the body using isopropyl  .
• Always use a clean cloth  .
• The room and object temperature must be at least → Nominal value: +15°C  .
• Humidity should be → Nominal value: 50 %+/-10 %  .
• Do not touch the bonding surface again after removing the protective paper  .
• Wear clean gloves during the bonding process in order to guarantee adequate adhesion  .
• The parts must have been bonded for at least → Nominal value: 72 h before washing the vehicle in a car wash  .

1. Prepare bonding surfaces -1-  on the rear lid -2-  and cover -3-  .

2. Affix adhesive tape → ADHESIVE TAPE 981.512.783.80 -1-  on the new cover → LEFT COVER 981.512.583.80 → RIGHT COVER 981.512.583.81 -2-  and fit cover together with a new seal → SEAL 981.512.685.80 -3-  and the wing struts -4-  on the rear lid -5-  .

3. Tighten fastening screws to the specified torque. Item 1 Tightening torque Nm 
4. Tighten screw covers at the sides.
