Programming Control Unit For Air Deflector

→ Prior to disconnecting the control unit, switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
→ Ensure that the power supply is not interrupted during programming.
→ Connect a battery charger with a current rating of at least → Nominal value: 40 A to the vehicle battery.

- PIWIS Tester II 9818 must be connected to the vehicle before starting the System Tester. Switch on ignition.
- Select the vehicle type.
- Select Rear-end electronics using the cursor keys and press [F12].
- Switch to the Maintenance/repairs menu.
- Select Normalize slide/tilt roof
with the cursor keys and press [F12].WARNING: Anti-pinch protection deactivated
- Risk of squashing
- Risk of damage to components
→ Do not reach into the danger area.
→ Do not move components into the danger area.
- Press [F8] to start the normalizing run.
- The message Normalization successful appears on the screen.
- Press [F12] to exit.
- Read out the fault memory and erase it if necessary.
- Carry out a function check on the slide/tilt roof.
