Installing Rear Wheel Cover

Information
- Carefully clean any dirt, grease, wax and other impurities off the installation area of the body using isopropanol.
- Always use a clean cloth.
- The room and object temperature must be at least → Nominal value: +15°C.
- Humidity should be → Nominal value: 50 %+/-10 %.
- Do not touch the bonding surface again after removing the protective paper.
- Wear clean gloves during the bonding process in order to guarantee adequate adhesion.
- The parts must have been bonded for at least → Nominal value: 72 h before washing the vehicle in a car wash.
- Clean the bonding area.
- 1.1. Wipe off the installation area with a cloth soaked in isopropanol.
- Insert a thin strip of cardboard (e.g. a business card) into the gap between the wing and rear apron.
- Position wheel cover on the wheel arch.
- 3.1. Position wheel cover at the gap -arrow- between the wing and rear apron until flush and fit at an equal distance -X- along the radius.
- Remove protective film from adhesive tape.
- 4.1. Remove protective film -arrow A- on the underside of the cover -arrow B- and pull it off along the wheel arch contour.
- Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover -1- where adhesive is applied -arrow- .
- Position wheel cover on rear apron.
- 6.1. Position wheel cover -2- at the gap -arrow- between the wing and rear apron until flush and fit at an equal distance -X- along the radius.
- Remove protective film from adhesive tape.
- 7.1. Remove protective film -3- on the underside of the cover and pull it off along the wheel arch contour.
- Press evenly and firmly with your hand on the area of the wheel cover -2- where adhesive is applied -arrow- .
