Replacing Rear Lid Molding

Remove molding for rear lid.
1. 1.1. Heat molding using hot-air blower, Leister-Electron/V.A.G. 1416 WE 1119 .
2. 1.2. Carefully detach molding -1- using a plastic wedge -2- and remove it from the rear lid -3- .

Install rear lid molding.
1. 2.1. Clean bonding surface with isopropanol.
2. 2.2. Pull protective film off the bonding area on the molding.
3. 2.3. Position the molding -1- using centering pins -2- and press it on the lid -3- .

4. 2.4. Press the molding firmly onto the rear lid, starting from the middle and moving outwards.
