Suspension alignment
Information:
Customer complaints relating to suspension alignment, e.g.:
- "Vehicle pulls to one side while driving straight ahead" or
- "Steering wheel is out of line".
In this situation, we refer to the following important specifications for suspension alignment :
- Wheel alignment should not be performed on vehicles with a mileage of between 0 and 120 miles (200 km). The settling behavior of the vehicles is only complete after this.
- During suspension alignment, current adjustment values and adjustment values assigned to the relevant order type must always be used.
Information
If suspension alignment work is subcontracted out, it is important to ensure that the alignment shop is provided with the correct adjustment values or that these adjustment values are supplied in writing with the vehicle .
