Installing Rear Brake Disc

Information
- Brake calliper screws can always be re-used if no damage can be identified.
- Replace damaged bolts.
- Observe different tightening specifications!
Do not confuse left and right brake discs during assembly!
- Check that all parts are in perfect condition (visual inspection) and replace them if necessary.
- Clean the flat and centring surfaces on the brake disc and wheel hub.
- Apply a very thin coat of Optimoly TA to the centring surface on the wheel hub.
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
Observe specified tightening torques:
Brake disc to wheel hub: > Tightening torque 15 (11 ftlb.) Nm
Brake calliper to wheel bearing housing: > Tightening torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.)
Cable holder to wheel bearing housing: > Tightening torque 8 (6 ftlb.) Nm
- Position disc brake pads by operating the brake several times.
- Check the brake fluid level and correct it if necessary.
