Removing Control Unit For Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

NOTE: Voltage peaks 
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

    → Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

The TPM control unit is located on the rear axle on the left anti-roll-bar mount.

The antenna is integrated in the TPM control unit. For more information, see > WM, 4X00IN GENERAL INFORMATION ON TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING (TPM)

  1. Disconnect electric line at the holder -1-  .
  2. Release connector -2-  and disconnect it.
  3. Unclip TPM control unit with holder -4-  on the back of the holder -3-  and disconnect it -arrow-  .

    Mounting for TPM

  4. Take TPM control unit -1-  out of the holder -2-  (-arrow-  ).
