Information:
Modified dowel sleeves on the crankcase
Longer dowel sleeves are installed in the crankcase as of a certain engine number (see table).
For this reason, new engines or crankcases cannot be fitted on the old transmission.
If the engine needs to be replaced, the dowel sleeves must be checked and long dowel sleeves (16.5 mm) may have to be replaced by short dowel sleeves (15 mm) .
