Installing Sunroof

Place the sunroof in installation position.
1. 1.1. Guide the sunroof through the rear lid opening into the passenger compartment with the help of another person.
2. 1.2. Fit the sunroof on the roof frame.
3. 1.3. Screw in fastening screws so that the frame for the sunroof can still be moved slightly.
4. 1.4. Move the sunroof until the locating bores are free.
5. 1.5. Position the sunroof -1- using the punches -2 and 3- with a diameter of → Diameter: 12 mm on the locating bores.

Secure the sunroof.
1. 2.1. Screw in front fastening screws -2- from the inside out → Tightening Torque: 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.) .

2. 2.2. Screw in side fastening screws -2- from front to rear → Tightening Torque: 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.) .

3. 2.3. Remove the punches -2 and 3- from the sunroof -1- .

Connect plug connection for sunroof motor -2- .

Secure water drain hoses.
1. 4.1. Connect front water drain hoses -2- to the connection piece -1- .

2. 4.2. Connect rear water drain hoses -2- to the connection piece -1- .

3. 4.3. Check that the water drain hoses are seated securely.
