Installing Heat Shield

Install heat shield. 

  1. Position upper or lower part of heat shield on the relevant cylinder head cover.
    1. 1.1. Secure the heat shield with two external Torx screws (M6 x 12) and tighten screws to the specified torque.

      → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 



Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical.

  1. Fit the heat shield -1-  using fastening screws -2-  and tighten screws.

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order.
