Removing Anti-Roll Bar

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 10 other vehicles, including the 2012 Porsche Cayman, 2012 Porsche Boxster, 2011 Porsche Cayman, 2011 Porsche Boxster, and 2010 Porsche Cayman. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points. → WM 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE (ALL MODELS) .
  2. Remove the support plate on vehicles with PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung).

    → Removing Support Plate .

  3. Remove rear anti-roll bar.
    1. 3.1. Unscrew one hexagon nut (at the left and right) on the suspension/stabilizer (connecting link) -arrow-  . Counter at the internal Torx screw on the suspension/stabilizer while doing this.
    2. 3.2. Unscrew two fastening screws on the rear-axle side section -arrows-  . Repeat the procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
    3. 3.3. Slide the anti-roll bar towards the rear, turn it as required and remove it sideways (to the left or right).
