Installing Inner Side Section

  1. Install inner side section and check that it fits perfectly. Check gap dimensions. → 5X00IN41 GAP DIMENSIONS .

    Information 

    • Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive  .
    • The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed  .
    • Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available  .
  2. Apply adhesive to the marked areas. → Application depth: 3.0 mm

    Red Plug-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding
    Yellow Bonding + riveting
    Blue Bonding
    Orange Resistance spot-welding + bonding
    Green Resistance spot-welding
  3. Resistance spot-weld the inner side section.
    1. 3.1. Rivet in area -A;B-  . → BLIND RIVET 999.190.227.01
    2. 3.2. Apply a full weld to area -C-  using inert gas.
    3. 3.3. Apply a full weld to area using inert gas.

    4. 3.4. Rivet in area -D-  . → BLIND RIVET 999.190.227.01
  4. Resistance spot-weld the inner side section.
