Preliminary Work

  1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out using PIWIS Tester II 9818  before removing the "old" control unit.
  2. Disconnect the battery. → 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY
  3. Remove rear luggage-compartment lining. → 700619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR LUGGAGE-COMPARTMENT LINING
