Removing Front Lid Seal

Information 

• During removal, the seal must not come into contact with hot engine components or adjacent units. This can cause damage to the seal. 

1. Remove front profile seal -1-  .
   1. 1.1. Pull the ends of the front profile seal -1-  back off the retaining lugs. -A- 
   2. 1.2. Carefully pull the front profile seal -1-  off the retaining flange.
   3. 1.3. Remove the front profile seal -1-  by pulling it towards the engine. -B-

2. Remove rear profile seal -1-  .
   1. 2.1. Lift up foam corner pieces at the ends of the profile seal.
   2. 2.2. Pull the ends of the rear profile seal -1-  up and off.
   3. 2.3. Remove rear profile seal.
