Removing Sealing Bellows Of The Steering Column
Information
- To remove and install the sealing bellows, the steering column must be removed.
- When the intermediate steering shaft has been separated, make sure that everything remains extremely clean. The grease on the individual parts must not be wiped off. If these individual parts are stored for a long period of time, they must be protected from dust and dirt.
- Mark the upper and lower part of the steering column (sliding piece with universal joint for steering column). This ensures that both parts of the steering column are re-assembled at the correct position.
