Installing Brake Master Cylinder

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Carefully insert the brake master cylinder -1- together with the brake fluid reservoir -2- into the brake booster -3- .

Fitting brake master cylinder (shown with reservoir)
Tighten the fastening nuts -1- on the brake master cylinder -2- at the brake booster -3- .
> Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) +/- 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)

Information
- If the brake master cylinder was replaced, install the brake fluid reservoir only after securing the brake master cylinder.
If the brake master cylinder was replaced, insert the brake fluid reservoir -2- in the brake master cylinder -2-Arrow- .

1. 3.1 Tighten screw -1- securing brake fluid reservoir -2- to brake master cylinder -3- hand-tight.

Install the brake lines -2- on the brake master cylinder -3- .
> Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 ftlb.) +/- 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)

Fitting brake master cylinder
Connect electric plug connection -1- for the brake fluid level indicator -A - and lock it -a- .
Fit the brake light switch if necessary.

Insert the sieve filter -1- in the brake fluid reservoir -3- .
