Adjusting tool for setting timing

Both staking tools for the camshafts are required in pairs for adjusting the camshafts. > 9678/1 - Staking tool. The tools must be used in mirror image for both cylinder heads.
The staking pin > 9595/1 - locating pins is used for the staking bore between the vibration balancer and timing-case cover for setting the TDC.
The assembly chain tensioner > 9683/1 - auxiliary chain tensioner is required in the V8 engine for setting the timing precisely because of the tolerances of the long timing chain. It is not suitable for the 4.5-litre engine. Lubricate the connection with a few drops of commercially available pneumatic oil (to prevent the inner piston from seizing). Operating pressure: 5.0 to 5.5 bar.
